Recently released on the Appian AppMarket, the ‘HTTP Request with Secure Credentials Store’ plug-in developed by Macedon Technologies gives developers a new function to make HTTP requests with credentials that are encrypted at rest.
Commonly, an integration endpoint will require some login credentials such as an API key or a basic username and password. The HTTP Request with Secure Credentials Store plug-in will allow keeping private values in the Secure Credential Store and keeping them encrypted at rest. Users may also need to specify their own secrets in their user-specific third-party credentials menu. The plug-in allows us to easily send user-specific values where applicable.
